Clinton Campaign Denies Secret Service Vetting of Fugitive Donor

Fred Lucas of CNSNews.com writes: After pledging to return $850,000 raised by fugitive fundraiser Norman Hsu, Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign vowed this week to do more rigorous background checks of big donors. But some law enforcement officials contend the former first lady -- or someone close to her -- should have known about Hsu's fugitive status, given the routine background checks conducted by the U.S. Secret Service on protected persons.

"Sorry, you are not correct. The Secret Service did not vet Mr. Hsu," Clinton campaign spokesman Howard Wolfson told Cybercast News Service in a written statement.

Asked why the Secret Service didn't vet Hsu, Wolfson said in a follow-up statement, "I don't mean to state the obvious, but she's not the first lady anymore." Read the article here.

Does the Secret Service check out people who interact with Hillary?

Even Norman Hsu gets a Wall Street Journal head-cut!!! I am at a complete loss of words. Does the U.S. Secret Service actually "protect" Hillary Clinton? Do they check into the people she deals with? How on earth could a convicted felon, FUGITIVE with an active warrant out have such close access to Hillary Clinton (former first lady)? The Wall Street Journal has done an excellent job at chronicling Norman Hsu's misdeeds.
Norman Hsu has been linked to a straw company called Next Components, Ltd. Article from the San Jose Mercury News
From Patrick Healy of the New York Times:

"Clinton campaign aides refused yesterday to release the names of the 260 donors whom Mr. Hsu recruited to the campaign, preferring to wait until they finish their own research on the individuals. Mrs. Clinton and her advisers are concerned that rival campaigns or the news media will dig into the background of each donor, and they want to be prepared if some of the donors end up having money funneled to them from Mr. Hsu or have shady backgrounds."
Norman Hsu's Contributions
A shocking article in the Wall Street Journal talks about where Hsu might have obtained his money. (Hint, it has the same theme of how he got busted bilking investors previously)

NOTHING TO DO WITH CPRA, JUST A PERSONAL CAUSE

Please consider giving up your Starbucks for a week and donate to save our children. CureSearch Team in Training is another terrific cause. My sister has participated in two half marathons to raise money for a cure. Please consider a donation to them as well.

Not Public Records Related, but CLASSICAL

Democratic fundraiser Norman Hsu failed to appear Wednesday in San Mateo County Superior Court to surrender his passport as promised in connection with a 15-year-old felony grand theft conviction. This is just what the democrats need. Perhaps we should investigate all the candidates that Fleeing Felon Hsu has helped. If you're interested in following this as an experiment, let me know in the comments section, and we can do this piece-by-piece. Oh, and in case anybody in the GOVERNMENT is reading this, please check your flight logs and let us know just when exactly Norman left the country. You should be able to find that out quickly. WHAT A JOKE!!!
